Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

The following Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: "Terms") apply to the use of the Kamatjel iOS mobile application (hereinafter: "Application"). By using the Application, the user accepts these terms.

The developer and operator of the Application is Kiss-Hanzsa Produkciós Iroda Kft. (tax ID: 24992141-2-06), which operates in accordance with Hungarian laws.

2. Application Description

Kamatjel is a subscription-based financial information mobile application available on iOS, which displays monetary indicators updated daily from publicly published data by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB).

The Application includes the following information:

  • The current central bank base rate
  • The complete BUBOR (Budapest Interbank Offer Rate) interest rate series
  • The complete BIRS (Budapest Interbank Swap Rate) interest rate series
  • Major exchange rates (EUR, USD, CHF, GBP, etc.)
  • Daily changes and historical display

3. Nature of Service and Limitations

3.1. Informational Nature

The Application performs information display only. The Application:

  • does not perform calculations
  • does not make forecasts
  • does not provide recommendations
  • does not perform automated decision support

3.2. Absence of Advisory Services

The Application does not provide:

  • investment advice
  • financial advice
  • legal advice
  • tax advice

3.3. Responsibility for Data

The Application does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. The data originates from public sources of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, and the Application only displays this information.

4. Excluded Services and Activities

The Application does not handle:

  • sensitive financial transactions
  • payment operations
  • banking services
  • investment services

The Application does not qualify as:

  • a financial institution
  • an intermediary
  • an entity operating as an investment service provider

5. Notifications and Widgets

The Application uses push notifications and home screen widgets solely for informational purposes. These notifications and widgets only inform about changes in data published by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and do not constitute advice or recommendations.

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

6.1. Subscription Model

Use of the Application is based on an automatically renewing monthly subscription.

6.2. Free Trial Period

The subscription begins with a 1-month free trial period. After the trial period expires, the subscription automatically renews, and the monthly subscription fee will be charged.

6.3. Payment System

Subscription management is handled through the RevenueCat and App Store in-app purchase systems. Payment is processed through the Apple App Store billing system.

6.4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel the subscription at any time in the iOS Settings menu, under Apple ID settings, in the Subscriptions section. After canceling the subscription, the Application remains usable until the end of the current billing period.

6.5. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the rules and terms of the Apple App Store. Refund requests can be submitted through the App Store.

7. Contact and Support

For any support questions, complaints, or feedback, you can contact the operator through the Telegram channel published in the Application.

8. Data Protection and Data Processing

Detailed information about the Application's data processing practices can be found in the Privacy Policy. By using the Application, the user accepts the data processing practices.

9. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All legally protected elements of the Application (code, design, logo, etc.) are the property of the operator. The user has no right to copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the Application for commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances does the operator of the Application assume liability for:

  • the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data displayed in the Application
  • direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Application
  • consequences of decisions made based on information found in the Application
  • temporary or permanent unavailability of the Application
  • technical errors, interruptions, or data loss

11. Modification of Terms

The operator reserves the right to modify the Terms. Users will be notified of changes in the Application or by email. Continued use of the Application after publication of the modifications constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Dispute Resolution and Legal Enforcement

The operator of the Application, Kiss-Hanzsa Produkciós Iroda Kft., operates in accordance with Hungarian laws. Hungarian law governs the Terms and the use of the Application. The parties shall first engage in a consultation procedure to resolve any disputes. If the consultation does not lead to a resolution, Hungarian courts have jurisdiction over disputed matters.

13. Final Provisions

If any provision of the Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it does not affect the validity of the other provisions of the Terms. Invalid or unenforceable provisions shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Hungarian legal regulations.
